Lawrence, Kansas has a great entertainment site, Lawrence.com, which keeps Lawrencians informed about all the music, drink specials, movies and news going on. I thought it would be nice to spruce up the mobile edition. Everything degrades, blah blah, the real trick to these mobile projects is contextual information.

Everyblock consists of various content types—police calls, building permits, restaurant reviews and many more—aggregated on a city block level. To make the UI easier to parse icons represent each content type.

Kevin and Kate wanted a portfolio experience that reflected their authenticity in the film industry as well as their unorthodox location of Cleveland, Ohio. This being my first foray into Flash I wanted to achieve an interface that was memorable and unique.

Lawrence Marketplace in its desktop form contains a great deal of content, so for the mobile version I had to decide what was the absolute necessity and cater to mobile situations. While the site takes advantage of the iPhone it scales down to less capable devices.
